One of the oldest watermills in the Midlands is close by, as are leisurely canal boat trips on the city of Birmingham's 114 miles of canals and waterways, while the National Exhibition Centre is only 10 miles away. Shop and pub serving food ½ mile.

Reviews
As a holiday destination in comparison to seaside or historic cities Sutton Coldfield/Birmingham as a whole isn't the same although there are alot of sights especially the new Bullring. It's a very good place to be very central to alot of destinations & a good network of motorways. The house was set in a very quiet road with with lovely surroundings & a well presented garden with a gazebo & decking area. We loved our stay in the UK as it took in my brothers wedding & visiting relatives which made it very special. Hopefully we will be returning to the Uk in the future & I would look to hoseasons again for accommodation.

Lying at the very heart of England, Warwickshire is best known as “Shakespeare’s County”. And taking a break in our holiday cottages in Warwickshire is the perfect way to explore the history of our greatest playwright. At Stratford-upon-Avon, you’ll find Shakespeare’s birthplace, the famous Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, where you can enjoy an outstanding performance of one of the great bard’s creations.
Our Warwickshire cottage holidays are also a great opportunity to visit the beautifully preserved Warwick Castle. This is one of the UK’s top visitor attractions, and a great family favourite, where key moments in the history of this great building are re-created. The gardens here are also very impressive. If you’re into antiques, then you’ll definitely want to take a stroll around Warwick with its many specialist antique shops.
Then there’s Kenilworth Castle, England’s largest castle ruins, and a major historic site. There’s a marvellous collection of paintings, china and furniture, not to mention some great facilities for children, at Ragley Hall, a fine palladian house near Alcester – another must see during your cottage holiday in Warwickshire. And with its fine Georgian and Victorian buildings, Royal Leamington Spa offers a touch of elegance as well as some top quality shopping.
